Title
European unitary rental markets: Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands compared

Researchers
Jim Kemeny (contact person), Philippe Thalmann (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), Jan Kersloot (Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands)

Year project started
2001

Short project description
This is an subsidiary project of the larger (and temporarily inactive) project described under European social rental markets in comparative perspective. From the six countries with unitary rental markets in that project we compare three: Sweden where not-for-profit renting leads the rental market, the Netherlands where it dominates it and Swizerland where it weakly influences it. A jointly-authored paper is currently in preparation.
