The Institute for Housing and Urban Research (IBF) at Uppsala University has a long tradition of multi-disciplinary research on international migration and ethnic relations, with a focus on housing and urban issues. Our research has an international reputation and also attracts much attention from news media, politicians and academics in Sweden.
Starting in 2010, we intensify our efforts in this field within the research program "Dilemmas of Diversity: Ethnic Integration and Segregation in the City". The program receives financial support from the Swedish Council for Working Life and Social Research.
